Healing Hands of Nature: Basic First Aid with Plants

During this workshop, we talk about the plants we have in our mountain ranges that can help in an emergency backcountry situation. Erin shares some of the plants she keeps in her first aid kit for hiking or backcountry skiing and reviews easily identifiable plants that you can use for basic care when you’re in the great outdoors. We taste plants and participants leave with a small plant identification cards with plant photos and their backcountry uses.
